KEY EVENT DETAILS
Competition Dates: 7th to 9th November 2025.
Arrival & Departure: Teams are scheduled to arrive on 6th November and depart on 10th November.
Opening Ceremony: Kick off the championships at the Opening Ceremony on 7th November 2025 at 3:00 pm.
Awards Distribution: Awards will be distributed following the last game on 9th November.
The championships will be governed by the rules of the International Federation of Aquatic Disciplines (World Aquatics), with specific modifications including a 25m field of play for all groups and each team having two time-outs per game.
CATEGORIES
14 & Under Mixed (with a maximum of 15 players and two females required in the water at all times unless for foul or injury)
16 & Under Male and Female (females may play in male teams if there are not enough players for a female team)
19 & Under Male and Female
Open Male and Female (Exhibition Category)
A water polo player’s age group is determined by their age as of midnight on 31st December 2025.
Participating Nations & Clubs:
The event will feature teams from 26 invited CARIFTA Federations, including Anguilla, Bahamas, Barbados, Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, and many more from across the Caribbean. Additionally, specially invited clubs and national teams from Canada, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the United States of America will also participate. There will be both a CARIFTA Regional Champion and an Overall Champion inclusive of CARIFTA and invited non-CARIFTA teams.
IMPORTANT TEAM INFO
TEAM REQUIREMENTS:
Each CARIFTA team is required to provide one referee.

ENTRY FEES:
A water polo entry fee of US$700 per team, per category applies.
This fee is due with the submission of preliminary entries.
ACCOMODATION & TRANSPORT:
Teams are responsible for their own accommodation and transportation expenses. Discounted hotel rates near the venue will be shared in separate correspondence.
DEADLINES:
Preliminary Entries: Monday, 8th September 2025.
Preliminary Entries [USA Clubs]: Saturday 1st November 2025
Federations/Clubs are required to pay the full registration fee with this submission.
Final Entries: Monday, 13th October 2025
Includes details such as player names, categories, officials, and passport-size photographs.
SPECTATOR INFORMATION:
Supporters are welcome! There will be an entry fee for spectators of US$15 per session or US$35 for a 3-day pass.
